2 hours Horseback Riding on the Beach 

The journey with these fantastic animals begins in the area of Uvero Alto, in northern Punta Cana. You will be picked up at your hotel in an open-air truck, which will allow you to see, feel and smell the real Dominican countryside on your way to the Ranch. Moving further away from the tourist areas, you will pass through several small villages, sugar cane fields, and tropical fruit plantations, getting a glimpse of the Dominican lifestyle.

Once arrived at the ranch (an authentic Dominican ranch) you’ll be given a riding helmet while one of the guides will give a short explanation on how to handle the horse. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced rider, the guides will match you with the horse that is just right for you.

Once you are saddled up and ready to go, just follow your guide through the woods, across and down some local roads, and on the beach. Just sit back and relax on your horse and explore some hidden scenery. Here you will experience the landscape of the Dominican countryside with its breathtaking mountains, rivers, virgin beaches, and more. The wind will whip through your hair as your horse picks up speed while contemplating the never-ending ocean. You can even ride in the water – the horses love it! You’ll have a nice long ride till reaching a river. Here you’ll have a chance to take a break and have some fresh coconut juice (bring some $$ to give the coconut guy as it is his only income).

Throughout the journey, the experienced guides will look after you and share with you their knowledge of the Dominican Republic, its culture, and more. They will assist you and make you spend an unforgettable time. A professional photographer will also take pictures of you along the way, and give you the option to purchase them after viewing them (like always barter with him on price). At the end of the tour some bottled water is offered and there are drinks available at a bar located on the property. While resting, you can check the pictures taken by the photographer on a screen and decide if buy them or not.

Pick up time is different for each hotel and will be provided in the email confirmation 3 days before the tour after closing the reservations. • Customers must fill out a waiver before starting the tour
• Pregnant women can’t participate in the excursion
• Children can participate according with their experience (minimum age to ride is 5 years old)
• For hotels in the area of Cap Cana and close to the airport 30usd extra per person are required due to the distance

In case a customer after booking a tour wants to cancel or is not more able to take part on it we will provide the full refund directly on the card used for the online reservation if the cancellation is required BY EMAIL within 24 hours before the starting of the tour.

Cancellation must be required BY EMAIL, (or by text in case) in order to have a written proof showing the exact date and time the customer asks to cancel. We will not accept cancellations by phone.

If the cancellation is required less than 24 hours before the starting of the tour due to any reasons (such as illness, change of personal circumstancesm, etc) and the customer is not able to reschedule, we will keep the deposit paid in advance or the 50% of the total price if the customers has paid in full.

In case the tour itself is cancelled due to weather conditions or other not ordinary reasons, the customer can choose if reschedule the tour or receive the full refund.

This policy DOES NOT apply for large groups of 10+ people where the cancellation is required at least a week in advance to get the full refund.
