Montana Redonda Half Day Tour with Horseback Riding or Four Wheels 

Once picked up directly from your hotel in Punta Cana, you’ll reach a meeting point for a quick stop. Here you can have a coffee, eat a snack or go to the bathroom. After a short briefing with our guide, we’ll get on our bus and, leaving Punta Cana behind us, we’ll move towards the lovely town of Miches.

During the journey, you will be able to enjoy the beauty of the Dominican landscape, with its exuberant fields and views of the sea. After around 1 hour, we’ll reach our destination and we are ready for the action! Montana Redonda (or Round Mountain in English) provides spectacular panoramic views for miles and miles around. It is located in Miches, in the province of El Seibo, and has a beautiful natural landscape and a wonderful 360 degree view.

The adventure begins with a ride in a 4x4 vehicle or safety truck that will take you to the top of the mountain. Once at the top, you will be treated to a visual spectacle: the horizon extends before you, showing a mixture of mountains, beaches and the deep blue of the ocean. One of the most exciting activities is the opportunity to take photos in the famous hammocks and swings that overlook the emptiness, perfect for capturing unique moments! Furthermore, the environment is ideal for relaxing and enjoying the tranquility that nature offers. The guides are friendly and well informed, which adds extra value to the experience. We will tell you about the local flora and fauna, as well as about the culture of the region.

After the visit to the Round Mountain, we’ll get back on our bus to continue our adventure and move to Playa Limon, one of the most beautiful virgin beaches of the island. Here we’ll visit a typical ranch where we will prepare for the second activity of the day: a horseback or a four-wheel ride along the coast. After a short safety briefing, we will start our journey along the east coast of the Dominican Republic. We will be surrounded by wild and uncontaminated nature. The total time of the ride will be around 2 hours and we will also have the opportunity to swim in the ocean (don’t forget to bring your bathing suit!) and taste a fresh coconut or a good rum and coke to end the adventure in the best way.

Once returned to the ranch we’ll rest a bit and then we will get on the bus again to start our way back to Punta Cana, until the drop off at our hotel.

• The climb of Montana Redonda is not a smooth ride as the road gets quite bumpy, therefore you have to be in good physical condition
• Pregnant women and people with back problems can’t participate in this tour.

In case a customer after booking a tour wants to cancel or is not more able to take part on it we will provide the full refund directly on the card used for the online reservation if the cancellation is required BY EMAIL within 24 hours before the starting of the tour.

Cancellation must be required BY EMAIL, (or by text in case) in order to have a written proof showing the exact date and time the customer asks to cancel. We will not accept cancellations by phone.

If the cancellation is required less than 24 hours before the starting of the tour due to any reasons (such as illness, change of personal circumstancesm, etc) and the customer is not able to reschedule, we will keep the deposit paid in advance or the 50% of the total price if the customers has paid in full.

In case the tour itself is cancelled due to weather conditions or other not ordinary reasons, the customer can choose if reschedule the tour or receive the full refund.

This policy DOES NOT apply for large groups of 10+ people where the cancellation is required at least a week in advance to get the full refund.
